Getting started

From download to your client dashboard

Four clear steps take you from the official installer to the private client area.

01

Download the application

Choose the installer for Windows, macOS or Linux from the Electroneum | Smart Chain Wallet download page.

02

Install and open

Run the installer, review the operating-system warning and launch Electroneum | Smart Chain Wallet from your device.

03

Connect or create a wallet

Connect a compatible EVM wallet. If you need a new one, create it inside a trusted wallet provider and back up its recovery phrase offline.

04

Enter the client dashboard

After a successful wallet connection, the application opens the client dashboard for the connected public address.

Install only from a verified source

Check the filename and publisher before opening an installer. A legitimate installer or support agent never asks for a recovery phrase or private key.

Wallet access

No traditional account password is required

Electroneum | Smart Chain Wallet uses an external wallet connection. The external wallet proves control of the public account and keeps signing authority on the user’s device.

  1. 1Open Electroneum | Smart Chain Wallet and select Connect wallet.
  2. 2Choose the installed browser, mobile or WalletConnect-compatible provider.
  3. 3Approve the connection request. This shares the public address only.
  4. 4Continue automatically to the client dashboard for that address.

Asset availability

Popular assets, where verified support exists

The interface can show native ETN and verified EVM assets deployed or bridged to a supported network. Availability varies by chain, provider and liquidity route.

These names are examples, not a guarantee of availability. Always verify the network and contract address; native BTC or ETH cannot be assumed to exist on Electroneum Smart Chain.
Signing stays external
Security first

The application never needs your recovery phrase

Electroneum | Smart Chain Wallet is an interface, not a custodian. The external wallet remains responsible for keys and transaction confirmation.

  • Download software only from the configured official source.
  • Store recovery phrases offline and never photograph or email them.
  • Verify the complete address, network, amount and fee before sending.
  • Read token approvals and swap permissions before signing.
  • Use a hardware wallet for significant balances.

Privacy and GDPR

Minimal data, controlled by the client

The default interface avoids behavioral analytics and keeps optional preferences on the user’s device.

Local preferences

Language, consent choice and the optional address book are stored locally in the browser and can be cleared from Settings.

No secret collection

The interface has no field for a recovery phrase, private key, wallet password, PIN or identity document.

Anonymous operation

No advertising profile is created. If aggregate technical telemetry is introduced, it must be opt-in, minimized and documented.

GDPR

Your data rights

Where personal data is processed for support or security correspondence, the user may request access, correction, deletion, restriction or export as applicable under GDPR. Identity may be verified before fulfilling a request.

Contact page

Blockchain activity is public, not anonymous storage

Public addresses, balances and transactions can be visible permanently on a blockchain. Clearing local data does not erase on-chain records, and a public address may become identifiable if linked to a person elsewhere.

FAQ
